Rustam Minnikhanov elected as Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia again

On June 21 at a general meeting of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia that was held within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was again elected as Chairman of the Association.
Results of work for 2012 were summarized and tasks for the nearest future were set at the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out key tasks faced by regions - members of the Association, such as provision of new jobs, and production of competitive products.
CEO of the Association Ivan Bortnik made a detailed report telling about law-making activity and interaction with State Duma committees. He said that the Association deals with development of innovative infrastructure in regions, establishes partnership relations with interethnic clusters (the Netherlands, Germany, France).
Election of the Association members, Chairman and members of the Supervision Board was held afterwards.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
