Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Grid Company

On 4 May at its meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the Board of Directors of the Grid Company considered issues of the reliability of the customers’ electricity supply, outcomes of the industrial and financial and economic work in 2021, the implementation of the capital construction of the company, events organized within the implementation of the Grid Company information systems development in 2019-2024 and the Strategy of the company’s digital transformation till 2025. The Board also approved revenue and expenditure budget and the capital construction plan for 2022.

The meeting reviewed parameters of electricity supply reliability and their dynamics in 2021, the results of the Programme of increasing the electricity supply reliability for 2020-2024 and the information about the impact of innovative solutions on increasing the reliability parameters.

According to the results of 2021, the amount of services in supplying electricity to residents of Tatarstan made about 26.6bn kW-h which was by 9.9 per cent more than in 2020. Real electricity losses were 6.4 per cent which was by 0.43 per cent less that during the same period last year and became possible due to a set of organizational and technical measures taken both in feeding and distribution grids. As many as 28 860 utility connection contracts were fulfilled last year, 90 per cent of customers representing reduced price group such as physical entities, SMEs and non-commercial organizations.

The implementation of the Capital construction plan of the Company amounted to 10.6bn roubles (without VAT) in 2021, the substantial amount of the money invested in reconstruction and construction of the 0.4 -6(10) kW distribution grids, installation of electricity meters as well as construction and reconstruction of high voltage feeding centers.

In 2021 the Grid Company also started operation of 23.643 facilities of electricity supply, 1 126 km of electricity transmission lines and 85MW of transformer capacity.

The Board of Directors also listened to the report on implementation and development of Company information systems, measures implemented for the Company infrastructure cyber-security and the Strategy of the Digital Transformation of the Company which defines main tasks, projects and technologies for ensuring the digital transformation of all business processes of the Company.
