Rustam Minnikhanov holds Board session of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding

On June 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a Board session of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding.
An Italian company Techint made their presentation at the session. President of Techint Group Enrico Bonatti told that the company implements different projects in fuel-energy sector. In particular, Techint Group and Chart Industries (USA) cooperate on promoting light natural gas liquefaction units. Tatarstan is meant to be a pilot region in Russia where such plants will be established.
Rustam Minnikhanov was interested in company’s engineering opportunities. He asked to study economic aspect of using liquefied natural gas as engine fuel in other spheres.
OOO “ Research and Production Company “Saneko” made proposals on producing high-strength ceramic bricks for road construction. The project passed all necessary tests. Project promoters say that production of high-strength ceramic bricks can be organized at existing sintering plants.
Information about research-technical and innovative activity of OAO “Institute of plastics” (Moscow) was presented at the session.
Holding of 42th international IGIP symposium “Global challenges in engineering education” in Kazan (September 25-27, 2013) was also discussed at the event. World’s top universities, well-known scientists, and specialists in the sphere of engineering education from 70 countries will take part in the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
