On 25 May, speaking at the meeting of the Tatarstan Cabinet on the results of the 2021/2022 heating season held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that close attention should be paid to decreasing the emergency situations in the heat supply sphere and especially during the heating season.
Summing up the outcomes of the meeting, Minnikhanov stressed that “failure rate is what worries us today”. He underlined that “we invest more in what we can see, but there is the underground infrastructure as well”, and gave an errand to the regional Government and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector of the republic to consider the possibility of a heat and water supply investments programme in the frame work of the regional projects.
