Major repair of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings continues in Tatarstan

On May 28, speaking at a regional video-conference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin that the major repair of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings under regional and federal programmes continues in Tatarstan.

Ayzatullin emphasized that traditionally the largest scale of work, taking into account the regional and federal programmes for major repair, is carried out in education. In this part, most of the major repair work is carried out in general educational organizations. Today, 119 schools and boarding schools are being overhauled. The level of construction and installation work has reached 33 per cent.

The second largest and no less important in social significance is the healthcare sector. Traditionally a lot of work is carried out on modernization of primary health care buildings: this year it is planned to repair 32 facilities.

He continued that the capital repair in also carried out in cultural, agricultural and other social facilities.

Speaking about the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses, the Minister said that the plan has been fulfilled by 20 per cent.
