The capital overhaul of multi-apartment houses has been completed at 119 sites in Tatarstan

On 6 August, reporting about the rate of housing construction and implementation of federal and regional programmes of construction of social and cultural facilities and public spaces at a videoconference with all regions of the republic held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government house of the republic, Regional First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector of the republic Aleksey Frolov said that capital overhaul of socially important and cultural facilities as well as modernization of the utility sector infrastructure are in full swing following the regional and federal programmes.

He said that in the sphere of education the work has been fulfilled by 77 per cent, the construction of kindergartens has been completed by 76 per cent, the overhaul of catering units of schools has been fulfilled by 72 per cent from the planned amount of work and 76 per cent of work in resource centers has been completed.

As far as the healthcare is concerned, the construction and mounting work has been done by 74 per cent and two hospitals in Kazan have already been commissioned, the Deputy Minister said.

Frolov also informed participants of the meeting about work progress in the sphere of culture, ecology and natural resources, children’s recreation camps and other federal and regional programmes.
