Igor Shuvalov and Rustam Minnikhanov visit new Marriage Registration Palace – Family Centre “Kazan”

On July 6 First Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, who arrived in Kazan to take part in official opening of 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited new Marriage Registration Palace – Family Centre “Kazan”.
The building was constructed on the right bank of the Kazanka River. It was designed by a famous artist and sculptor Dashi Namdakov. The building was constructed for one year and a half. Up to 100 ceremonies can be held in the palace every day. There are bride and groom rooms, wedding reception halls, and a sightseeing platform.
Guests were met by Head of Civil Registry Office Elmira Zaripova and Aide to Tatarstan President on social issues Tatyana Larionova by the entrance of Family Centre “Kazan”.
Igor Shuvalov was told about new building and the project.

Later on, Igor Shuvalov and Rustam Minnikhanov went to the sightseeing platform and spoke to newly married couples. They also discussed the project of walking and cycle paths along embankment of the Kazanka River. Igor Shuvalov suggested making green boulevard along residential districts located on the right bank of the Kazanka River.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
