On July 12 Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazan. He was met by First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the international airport “Kazan”.
Vladimir Putin is going to visit a number of sports venues constructed for 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Upon arrival he visited the Rowing Centre, where he had a conversation with sportsmen. They thanked the President for perfect organisation of Summer Universiade.
Vladimir Putin, in his turn, thanked Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov saying that great work was done for the project implementation.
According to Vladimir Putin, all funds were allocated for the city development, construction of sports venues and roads. Kazan greatly changed and it has become a wonderful European city, he said.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
