Mintimer Shaimiev and Nikolay Patrushev visit island town of Sviyazhsk

On July 15 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of the Regional Fund “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev and Secretary of Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev visited island town of Sviyazhsk.
Mintimer Shaimiev showed Nikolay Patrushev and his party historical monuments reconstructed under the project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: the ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk”.
The guests looked around Trinity Church of the St John the Precursor Monastery, reconstruction works of the Cathedral “The Joy of all Who Sorrow”, and the hotel situated in the reconstructed house of the merchant Kamenev, and the State Historical, Architectural, and Art Museum “Island-Town of Sviyazhsk”.
Then the guests went to tourist ethnographical complex “Horse yard”.
Aide to Tatarstan President, CEO of Regional Fund for Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments Tatyana Larionova told Nikolay Patrushev in details about activity of the Fund and archeological and reconstruction works.
Nikolay Patrushev noted that it was a pleasure for him to get acquainted with the island town of Sviyazhsk and its history.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
