Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin: mobilized Tatarstan residents do not have to pay tax assessment notices

On 1 November, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said Tatarstan residents, who have been mobilized or are on contract military service do not have to pay tax assessment notices as they are eligible for deferral and some benefits. He clarified they will be able to pay taxes by installments during the next six months.

“By the Tatarstan law residents of our republic, who have been called up during the partial mobilization are exempt from paying the transport tax for 2021. But this refers only to a vehicle owned by this concrete person”, he added.

Marat Safiullin also informed that tax bodies of the republic will give mobilized entrepreneurs a deferral for submitting their tax declarations and paying taxes. He underlined that there will also be no tax checks of their business and their accounts will not be frozen.
