Rustam Minnikhanov hands in UAZ Hunter car certificates to employees of the Tatarstan State Committee on Biological Resources

On 24 December at the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the certificate for 43 UAZ Hunter cars to the Chairman of the State Committee on Biological Resources of the republic Fedor Batkov so that the inspectors use them for fulfilling their administrative tasks.

Rustam Minnikhanov said he was sure the inspectors will use the vehicles with care and will do their job even during the New-Year holidays.

Tatarstan carries out large work in revealing and restraint of law violations in hunting and on especially protected natural zones. Thus, in 2022 the surveillance work recovered 98 per cent of losses inflicted to game reserves and 78 criminal cases were open for violation the nature protection legislation. As many as 3 420 fishing nets were confiscated when carrying out actions against illegal fishery in the republic.
