Speaking at a briefing on issues of implementation of the programme of Tatarstan complete gasification held in the Government house of the republic, Director General of the Gazprom Transgas Kazan Company Rustem Usmanov has said that as of today residents of the republic have submitted more than 17 000 applications for gasification, the gas pipelines have been laid to 12 000 land plots and 6 000 households have been connected to gas supply.
“Today the gasification level in the republic has reached 99.5 per cent that is one of the highest figures in Russia. But I keep saying that we should not be deluded by the achieved results”, he said and reminded that applications could be sent either online at the Public Services site or in person by visiting the regional gas services offices.
Regional Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Marat Minnibayev informed that since the beginning of the current year educational and medical institutions of the republic are also eligible for free gasification.
He added that today there are already applications from 22 educational and 36 medical institutions and concluded that from now the programme will be permanent instead of a temporary one.
The complete gasification programme initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin envisages free pipelines to the boundaries of the land plots whereas the pipelines inside the plot and installation of the gas equipment will be done at the expense of the land owners.
