The winners of the international tournament in informatics awarded at the Government House of Tatarstan

On February 14, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Ramis Muzipov and Rector of Innopolis University Aleksander Tormasov took part in a solemn ceremony of awarding Tatarstan schoolchildren winners and prize-winners of the 14th international autumn tournament in informatics, held in Bulgaria in an online format on November 24, 2022.

The tournament gathered over 400 participants from Egypt, Pakistan, Peru, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Russia and other countries. The teams competed in two age groups of juniors and high school. The competition took place in two rounds. In each round, for five hours, participants solved problems on programming techniques and data structures in C/C++, C#, and others.

As many as 11 students from three educational institutions: the Lobachevsky lyceum, IT-lyceum of Kazan Federal University and boarding school 2 of the Moscow district of Kazan represented Tatarstan. University of Innopolis trained participants and formed teams. According to the results of the competition, participants from the republic won 10 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze.
