On 15 February, congratulating everyone with the Day of Remembrance of Russian citizens who served their military duty outside Motherland, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin said in his telegramme: “On 15 February our country celebrates the Day of Remembrance of Russian citizens who served their military duty outside Motherland. This day we pay homage to all citizens who in different years took part in settlement of military conflicts outside Russia. As many as 25 000 people died when fulfilling their military duty in various hot spots and we share the pain of bereavement with those who lost their near ones and close friends in these warpaths. We cherish the memory of all those fallen for their Motherland and glorify those who have come back safe!”
The telegramme also said: “The unique experience of international warriors is also in demand today in the Army and enforcement bodies, at state and public organizations including the work in developing patriotism among youngsters. From the bottom of my heart I congratulate all Tatarstan citizens who fulfilled their military duty outside Motherland and wish you and your near ones good health, peace, well-being and luck!”
