Aleksey Pesoshin congratulates residents of Tatarstan with the 23rd February- the Defenders of the Fatherland Day

On 23 February, congratulating residents of Tatarstan with the 23rd February- the Defenders of the Fatherland Day, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin said that this holiday is homage to all those who served for the benefit of the Fatherland, who is serving their military duty now and those who are going to join the Russian Army and Navy as well as all those who by peaceful labour and military valour struggle for wellbeing and stability of our state and strengthen glory and might of our great Motherland.

“First of all I would like to congratulate WWII veterans who have gloriously fulfilled their military duty during the war and today soldiers, who are fulfilling military tasks in the zone of the special military operation, show their courage and heroism continuing glorious heroic traditions”, he said.

In his address Aleksey Pesoshin also said that Tatarstan also makes a substantial contribution into increasing defensive capacity of the country. High potential of regional enterprises comprised into military and industrial complex of Russia makes it possible to implement the most complex defensive orders procuring the Army and the Navy with the modern technique and armament.

In conclusion he wished soldiers, their wives, mothers, children and all residents of the republic good health optimism and confidence in the future.
