On August 10 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, regional ministers, heads of state agencies, deputies of Tatarstan State Council, friends, colleagues, and relatives took part in a funeral meeting on the occasion of Aleksandr Yurtaev’s decease in NCC Kazan.
One of ideologists of the project “Electronic Government of the Republic of Tatarstan” and creators of the business portal TatCenter.ru, Doctor of Economics Aleksandr Yurtaev deceased on August 5 when he was 62.
More than 12 years, from 1998 to 2011, Aleksandr Yurtaev headed the Information Analytical Department at the Cabinet of Ministers and Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. He made a considerable contribution to informatization of public administration and implementation of the project “Electronic Government of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
The civil funeral meeting was opened by Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov: “We are paying our last tribute to a person who did a great deal for the Republic of Tatarstan, made a considerable contribution to formation of the republic’s image, development of “Electronic Government” principles and IT industry. He was the main ideologist of “Electronic Government” concept.”
Roman Shaikhutdinov conveyed condolences to relatives on behalf of Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov.
“Aleksandr Yurtaev was a very active and unique person. He always brought innovative ideas to our work. He was a very competent in many spheres and had his own opinion. When we heard about his disease we did our best to help. But we did not manage to save him. This person left his mark on the history of our republic,” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Aleksandr Yurtaev will be buried on Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
