Rustam Minnikhanov inspects harvest campaign in Buinsk region

On August 12 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Buinsk municipal region to inspect harvest campaign.
Rustam Minnikhanov flew over the fields and met with heads of farms and townships on the field of OOO “Avangard”, a part of “Ak Bars Agro” agro-holding.
Head of local administration Radik Dautov informed IA “Tatar-inform” correspondent that about 66 percent of areas were threshed, the average yield made 27 centners per hectare. The barley yield makes 38 centners per hectare.
Together with harvest campaign, the preparation for autumn sowing is under way. As of today, about 15 percent of areas have been prepared for sowing campaign.
Head of municipality Azat Aizetullov informed Tatarstan President about current situation in Buinsk region agro-industrial complex. According to Azat Aizetullov, the harvest campaign is meant to be finished within 10 days.
Head of the region also reported that the livestock development programme aimed at increase of cattle production was implemented in the region.
About 70 family farms are currently functioning in the region with only 9 of them using high technologies. Tatarstan President asked Azat Aizetullov to pay special attention to development of dairy farming.
Later, heads of farms asked Rustam Minnikhanov questions.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
