On 28 May, congratulating workers of the pharmaceutical, oil-refining, chemical and petrochemical industries with the Day of the Chemist, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said in his address:” Tatarstan has glorious, centuries long scientific traditions and high industrial potential which ensure economic development of the country.
Pharmaceutical, oil-refining, chemical and petrochemical enterprises, which in a number of cases are the largest in Europe and the Russian Federation continue entering the markets with new competitive products and strengthen ties with all branches of economy from agriculture to military-industrial complex. The impeccable reputation of the sphere is based on everyday hard labour, loyalty to profession, serious approach and high organization of thousands of highly-qualified specialists and scientists.
Today Russian industry is living through hard times which demand changes in all long-standing relationships and chemical enterprises of the republic are not exception in this respect. However, this period of time is also the time of possibilities. Extremely rich experience, scientific and industrial potential of shareholders and workers of chemical enterprises and scientific institutions make it possible to meet the challenges with flying colours and to set up manufacture of the products needed for industry and people in the shortest time possible.
Surely the comprehensive development of domestic industry and implementation of innovational projects are the source of growth of prosperity of people, increasing safety of economy and guarantee the descent living standards to next generations.”
In conclusion of his address Aleksey Pesoshin thanked all workers of the pharmaceutical, oil-refining, chemical and petrochemical industries and the scientific institutions of the branch for their high professionalism, constant aspiration to upgrade their skills in their work and expressed special gratitude to old-stagers of the industry for their substantial contribution into development of big chemistry in the Republic of Tatarstan.
