On May 2, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tatenergosbyt Energy Vendor Company, which considered a number of issues including the results of financial and operational activities of the company in the first three month of 2023 and making changes to the organizational structure of Tatenergosbyt Company.
Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Company Rifnur Suleymanov reported on indicators of electricity consumption in the republic.
“Dynamics of electricity generation and consumption in Tatarstan as a whole for the first quarter of 2023 is positive, but their growth rate is lower than last year. The electricity generation at all power stations of the republic reached 7bn7m kWh, which was by 2,5% more compared to the same period in 2022. The energy consumption in the republic made 9bn kWh, showing the growth of 1,9% compared to the previous year,” he said.
The growth of this energy indicator is associated with an increase in the consumption of oil production and processing enterprises, the production of electrical equipment, the automotive industry and pipeline transport enterprises. The electricity deficit of 14% was made up by flows into the energy system of Tatarstan from adjacent regions.
Suleymanov informed the Board about the overdue receivables and said that the level of payment for all consumer groups was 99.6 per cent.
Further, the Board of Directors got acquainted with a new organizational structure of the company, under which changes were made to the structural units supervised by the Deputy Director for Information Technology and Economics and Finance. Changes in the structure are driven by the need to further support and develop the implementation of automated accounting systems and build internal control over financial flows in the context of business processes.
