About 120,000 Tatarstan residents will not be able to leave Russia because of debts

On June 6, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, devoted to the topic of recovery of alimony payments under the All-Russian information campaign “Bailiffs for Children” in Tatarstan, Head of the Tatarstan Department of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs Anvar Zakirov said that about 120,000 Tatarstan residents are restricted from leaving the country because of their debts.

According to Anvar Zakirov, debtors are restricted from leaving Russia if there is an enforcement proceedings on the existing debt in the amount of 30,000 roubles. If the payer fails to pay the debt within two months, then the amount threshold is reduced. The bailiff can limit travel abroad with the debt from 10,000 roubles.
