Rustam Minnikhanov meets with activists of regional national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in Volgograd region

On August 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with activists of regional national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in Volgograd region. He told about projects that were created to help uniting Tatars throughout the world, preserve the native language and traditions. Among them are a satellite TV channel “TNV planet” for Tatars living in Russian and CIS regions, and abroad, Ana tele online programme for studying the Tatar language.
Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned the World Congress of Tatars as the organization which aims to unite Tatars. He also said that cooperation between Tatarstan and Volgograd region will favour strengthening economies of these two regions.
Tatarstan President informed that he had visited industrial enterprises in Volgograd region that supply their produce to Tatarstan.
Vice-governor of Volgograd region Oleg Kersanov said that the visit of Tatarstan delegation is important for Volgograd region and will help starting new stage in relations between two regions.
Chairman of regional national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in Volgograd region Ravil Saifullin thanked local government for support rendered to Tatar community. He offered to organize cooperation on municipal level. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea.
Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov told about the programme for supporting Tatar youth.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented Letters of Gratitude of Tatarstan President to some activists of the Tatar community for contribution to development of cultural relations and consolidation of cooperation.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
