Tatarstan delegation sign 25 agreements at SPIEF-2023

On June 20, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) Taliya Minullina said that on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan delegation singed 25 agreements including 11 of them with the participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

“This year we have chosen the concept “Tatarstan – the future is already today” associated with innovations. We presented the infrastructure for the development of technologies from Innopolis and the IT park. In logistics - road infrastructure, intelligent transport systems, as well as unmanned mobile complexes - KAMAZ, unmanned taxis, delivery robots and drones were presented,” the Head of TIDA said.

The republic also presented e-commerce, warehouse infrastructure, banking products, e-commerce city, electric vehicles, alternative energy sources, and human capital: education, profession of the future, tourism, recreation and « Games of the Future ». In total, the delegation of Tatarstan included almost 100 people, most of them were business representatives.

Deputy Prime Minister – Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that during SPIEF the delegation of Tatarstan agreed with the heads of Stavropol and Smolensk regions, The Republics of Tuva and Karelia on cooperation in implementing the resources of the Regional Marketing Centre.

Shagiakhmetov paid special attention to Islamic banking. According to him, those products provided by partner financing organizations are now more expensive than traditional ones due to the lack of state support measures.

Tatarstan Minister of Economy concluded that at the SPIEF the National Rating of the Investment Climate in the Russian regions was announced, where Tatarstan ranked second among the regions of the country, behind only Moscow.
