On August 4, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a solemn opening of a new 110 kV Azino substation named after Forel Tinchurin in Kazan. On the facade of the substation there is a memorial plaque in honor of Tinchurin, who was the director of the Kazan branch of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute from 1976 to 1994. Then the guests looked around the substation. They were shown a server rom, an electrical control room, modern equipment, a relay room and other workrooms and got acquainted with the work of the equipment of the 110 kV closed distribution point.
Tatarstan Prime Minister signed the Book of Honored Guests. Addressing the participants of the event, Pesoshin congratulated on behalf Tatarstan Government and on his own behalf everyone on the significant event. He emphasized that the new power facility was put into operation to replace the existing closed 110 kV Azino substation, which was in operation for about 35 years and was intended to supply Azino microdistrict.
Today in Azino there are hundreds of residential buildings and dozens of socially significant organizations and enterprises, which required the modernization of substation equipment. Commissioning of the substation will increase reliability, improve the quality of power supply of the microdistrict and serve to further strengthen the energy security of the republic.
Today, economic development is impossible without digital transformation, Pesoshin noted. The 110 kV Azino substation became the second closed-type digital substation with an automated process control system in Kazan.
The Prime Minister of Tatarstan also thanked the management and staff of the Setevaya Kompaniya Power Company, as well as the general contractor – the KER-Holding Company and the contractors for the successful work. He wished everyone new success and movement only forward. Pesoshin also handed in awards to the most distinguished power engineers.
