Congratulations from Rustam Nigmatullin on the occasion of the Air Force Day

In his congratulations on the occasion of the Air Force Day, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin wrote: “Dear Air Force aviators and veterans! On 12 August our country celebrates the Air Force Day which a symbol of many years heroic service to the Fatherland and selfless accomplishment of the military duty.

At all times aviation has been and is the most mobile and flexible kind of Russian Armed Forces, properly ensuring safety of the country and protection of its interests at its air boundaries.

The history of military aviation is inseparable from the heroic past of our great Motherland. Heroic deeds of military pilots, selfless work of aviation industry laborers during the WWII are inscribed in golden letters in the chronicles of the country.

Aviation specialists, military pilots and navigators are the descent heirs and successors of the best traditions of the Russian Army.  They fulfill their military duty with flying colors, courageously protecting national security of our country, its state interests and struggle against international terrorism and fulfil military tasks in the zone of the special military operation.

Multi-thousand teams of aircraft enterprises also make their huge contribution into the development and improvement of the Russian Air Forces.”

In conclusion he congratulated all residents of the republic with the Air Force Day and wished them good health, prosperity and achievements in their service and labor for the benefit of Russia.
