Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum

On September 4 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, President of the Union of oil, gas and petrochemical industry workers Gennady Shmal, Deputy Chairman of Bashkortostan Government Dmitry Sharonov, Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov took part in opening of Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum. This year the forum is dedicated to 70 years of oil field development in Tatarstan.
To the point, the forum is organized by Tatarstan Ministry of Indsutry and Trade, OAO Tatneft, OAO TAIF, OAO Tatneftehiminvest-holding, and OAO Kazanskaya yarmarka. The forum will be held for three days.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that 250 domestic and foreign enterprises that represent state-of-the-art technologies and equipment for oil, gas and petrochemical industry are taking part in the event this year. He wished participants of the forum successful work.
President of the Union of oil, gas and petrochemical industry workers Gennady Shmal noted that Tatartsan oil industry workers are leaders in adoption of new technologies.
Deputy Chairman of Bashkortostan Government Dmitry Sharonov read out the greetings on behalf of Bashkortostan President Rustem Khamitov. Bashkortostan Government pays much attention to cooperation with Tatarstan as both regions have common problems that can be solved jointly.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented diplomas to officials of some companies that demonstrated their solutions at the exhibition and were granted highest awards. These companies are Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Tatneft, Gasprom Transgas Kazan, RITEK.
Rustam Minnikhanov looked around expositions of participating companies. This year six big Belarus companies presented their products for the first time.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
