Rustam Minnikhanov: Interra forum is a perfect place for regions of the Association of innovative regions of Russia

On September 6 during his working trip to Novosibirsk Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Association of innovative regions of Russia said that participation of the Association in Novosibirsk innovation forum Interra-2013 is useful for all regions.
Governor of Novosibirsk region Vasily Yurchenko said that 500 participants and 250 experts from Russia and 11 other countries take part in the forum that is dedicated to education industry this year.
Vasily Yurchenko aslo read out a telegram on behalf of Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that more and more scientists, experts, and businessmen from Russia and foreign countries come to the forum. He added that Novosibirsk is considered to be a major scientific and high-tech centre.
Rustam Minnikhanov supposes that the topic of the forum, education as a source of innovative development, is very urgent for Russia and many foreign countries, and competitiveness of any region depends on its educational potential. Our task is to create the staff training system that will meet all challenges of global competence, he said.
He expressed hope that the forum will help to exchange practices, build knowledge-based economy and develop international cooperation in the sphere of innovations.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
