Nizhnekamskneftekhim to maintain continuity of relationships with the city

On September 18 participants of a special general shareholders meeting of OAO “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, which was held in Nizhnekamsk, confirmed their intentions to maintain continuity of relationships with the city.

The main issue on the agenda was the elections of new Board of Directors.

OAO “TAIF” Deputy Director General on management and strategic development of OAO “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Vladimir Busygin was elected the Board Chairman by an unanimous voting. The former Board Chairman Albert Kashafovich has become the honoured member of the Board.

Albert Shigabutdinov has held the office of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Board Chairman since 2006. The company’s profit reached its historical maximum (up to 17 mln roubles) during that time.

Head of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov appreciated Albert Shigabutdinov’s seven-year work at the post of the Board Chairman and noted Nizhnekamskneftekhim achievements for the last few years.

Nizhnekamsk Mayor Aidar Metshin conveyed his words of gratitude to the company’s Board and noted personal merits of Vladimr Busygin to the enterprise and the city.

The first meeting of the new Board was held after company’s special general shareholders meeting.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Nizhnekamsk Mayor, Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region Aidar Metshin, the leadership of TAIF group and members of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Board took part in the meeting.
