Nearly 445m rubles allocated on the regional project of development of primary healthcare in Tatarstan in 2024

On 20 February at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the regional Minister of Healthcare Marsel Minullin informed that the regional project of primary healthcare development, which is a part of the national Healthcare Project, will be continued.

“The budget of 2023 was about 448m rubles, including practically 30m from the federal  and 419m from the regional budgets,” he said and emphasized that all tasks set up for 2023 were fulfilled.

|In the current year nearly 445m rubles, including 30m from the federal and 414m from the regional budgets, have been allocated on the regional project of development of primary healthcare in Tatarstan ,” the Minister said and informed that the first heart transplant has been performed in Naberezhnyye Chelny .

“The Chief Medical Doctor of the hospital has already reported me that the patient was already transferred from the ICU,” he said and congratulated the Chief Medical Doctor of the Naberezhnyye Chelny Emergency Hospital Marat Mukhamadeev, who took part in a briefing via videoconference.

Marsel Minullin said that before that heart transplant was performed at the Inter-regional Clinical-Diagnostic Center of Kazan, which performed 26 transplants in 2023, and the fact that they started this work in Naberezhnyye Chelny testifies to high professionalism of medical doctors and well-equipped clinics not only in the capital of Tatarstan.

He informed that in 2023 nearly 3 500 children were treated in the Children Oncological Center in Kazan, which was built in 2021 and is the first in the Volga Federal District.
