As many as 1m 888thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan having fulfilled 60 per cent of the planned

On 11 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that as of 11 May the housing construction plan has been fulfilled by 60 per cent in the republic with 1m 888thousand square meters of housing already commissioned.

He also informed about implementation of housing construction programmes and provision of accommodation for some categories of citizens, and told about the accident frequency rate and labour safety measures.

Marat Ayzatullin reported about implementation of regional and federal programmes of construction of social, engineering infrastructure, youth policy, healthcare and sports facilities and informed about the programme of the Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories.

In conclusion he informed about work being done in reconstruction of biological waste treatment facilities and recovery of soil polluted by oil-containing contaminants, two regional programmes of building regional executive committees and residential service centers and providing residents with potable water.
