Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in congress of United Russia party

On October 5 at a congress of United Russia party in Moscow Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that members of the party should improve their work with people and solve their problems. 27 delegates from Tatarstan, including Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in the congress.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that United Russia party proved again that it has more authority with country’s citizens than any other party. However, he said that the party needs renewal.

Dmitry Medvedev reminded that some changes were made in the party’s constitution last year in May, leaders of party branches are now elected for five years.
Members of today’s meeting approved new version of the constitution.

Russian Prime Minister mentioned problems of inter-ethnic relations. He said that formation of ethnic enclaves is inadmissible, especially in big cities.

Addressing heads of public receptions, Mr. Medvedev noted their hard work when they receive people addressing with different problems.

The party leader thanked the audience and wished patience, courage and health, and presented letters of gratitude to heads of public receptions.
