Session of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission held in Kazan

On October 9 First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, Board Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko, and representatives of Kazakhstan and Belarus governments took part in VIII session of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission in Kazan.
Participants of the session discussed functioning of the Common Economic Space and Customs Union.
The Eurasian Economic Commission, a permanent regulating agency of the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, started working on February, 2, 2012. Its main mission is to provide conditions for functioning and development of the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, development of proposals on integration development. Members of Common Economic Space are the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Belarus. The Commission has the status of supranational body that relies on interests of Eurasian community. Its decisions shall be subject to compulsory implementation by members of the Customs Union and Common Economic Space.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
