Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in presentation of the book “The Republic of Tatarstan. Fascinating trip”

On October 10 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Kamaltynov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova, heads of municipal regions, media agencies took part in presentation of a unique book “The Republic of Tatarstan. Fascinating trip.” This illustrated book tells about sights of Tatarstan regions and outstanding people who represent their nation.
The book was published by Logos publishing house in Russian, Tatar, Arabic and English languages. The whole edition of the book will be given to Regional Fund “Revival” that works to preserve and develop historical, cultural and spiritual traditions of multi-ethnic people living in Tatarstan.
Chairman of the Fund’s Board of guardians Mintimer Shaimiev thanked TAIF company that provided financial support. About 100 thousand educational books have already been published due to company’s support.
The book contains 500 pages with the welcoming speech of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the first page. Information about 43 municipal regions and 2 city districts is presented then.
The project manager Maksim Andreev says the book does not have any official chronicles, and it is mainly dedicated to history, culture and unique traditions of the republic.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
