Over 10,000 guests expected at the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum

On August 21, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko said that over 10,000 guests from 25 regions of Russia and 4 foreign countries are expected at the upcoming Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum.

The Forum is expected to be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre on August 26-28 and will be dedicated to the Year of Scientific and Technological Development in Tatarstan. "To date, a huge number of companies have already applied to participate in the traditional TatOilExpo exhibition, namely more than 200 companies from different regions," Oleg Korobchenko said.

Foreign guests are expected to include delegations from China, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Italy. «Our partners from European countries understand that they need to work with us and are looking for ways to cooperate," the speaker said.

The Minister emphasized that an extensive business programme is expected this year: four international and one all-Russian conference. In addition, Gazprom Company, Gazprom Neft Company and Tatneft Oil Company will hold traditional Supplier Days.

The forum also includes six round tables, two of which are held annually with the participation of the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. They will be devoted to the application of new petrochemical products in construction and road management. In addition, the round tables will discuss current issues in the petrochemical industry: staffing, energy and environmental issues.
