Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of the organizational committee of II forum “ROSTCHI: Russia-China mutually beneficial cooperation”

On 13 September in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin  held a meeting of the organizational committee of II forum “ROSTCHI: Russia-China mutually beneficial cooperation” with the General Consul of China in Kazan Xiang Bo taking part in it.

Speaking at the meeting Aleksey Pesosin reminded that the first ROSTCHI forum was held in 2023 with participation of 7 thousand people from 58 regions of Russia and 14 provinces of China and has proved itself to be an efficient platform for the development of economic cooperation between Russian regions and Chinese provinces. 

“The Forum became a starting point for implementation of new investments projects and establishment of joint productions with Chinese partners ,” he emphasized.

The Head of the regional Agency for Investments Development Taliya Minullinna informed participants of the meeting that last year the mutual trade turnover reached 3bn dollars US which was twice more than in 2022.

In the current year the forum will take place on 13015 November and its business programme comprises 72 sessions in such spheres as industry, construction, IT, business amalgamations, education, agriculture and others and guests of the forum will be also able to get acquainted with the industrial capacity of the republic and visit leading enterprises including plants of Chinese investors.

It is also planned to organize an international exhibition the Russia - China Expo, and the Iad to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova added that there also will be the international Rebus forum of the sidelines of the ROSTCHI, participants of which will exchange their experience in agglomeration development.
