Tatarstan President meets with Pro-rector of Carnegie Mellon University

On October 31 at their meeting in Moscow within the framework of the forum “Open innovations” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Pro-rector of Carnegie Mellon University Mark Kamlet discussed implementation of Innopolis University.
Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, and Aide to Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin took part in the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the forum gives opportunity to discuss current cooperation between Tatarstan and Carnegie Mellon University, and prospects.
Nikolay Nikiforov reminded that IT University that is being established in Innopolis city will be diferent from other Russian universities. The expert council of IT companies will manage the university activity.
Mark Kamlet said they are very interested in Innopolis project.

The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
