Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in session of Public Television Council

On November 7 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a session of the Council of Public Television of Russia, which started its broadcasting in May this year, in Moscow.
To the point, Mintimer Shaimiev is the member of the Public Television Council.
Before the session, members of the Council got acquainted with a new television and technical complex of the Public Television of Russia. They appreciated the work done by the Public Television leadership to create and organize the activity of a new channel.
Director General of Pubic Television of Russia, President of International Academy of Radio and Television Anatoly Lysenko reported about results of the channel broadcasting for six months. Then members of the Council exchanged their opinions about the activity of the channel and discussed further tasks of the public television.
In his speech Tatarstan State Counsellor noted great spiritual significance of the new public channel, aimed at developing the civil society and promoting human and moral values. He pointed out that the Public Television of Russia should broadcast urgent problems of the multinational people of the country and made a number of proposals on broadcasting the life of the regions and cooperation with regional television and radio companies.
Members of the Council also discussed some organizational issues related to the broadcasting of the channel, as well as financial support of the Public Television of Russia.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
