Rustam Minnikhanov: “Tatarstan and Lukoil established long-term partnership relations”

On November 14 at his meeting with President of Lukoil company Vagit Alekperov at Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Lukoil have established long-term partnership relations.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked company’s management for attention paid to the republic. “Lukoil is our partner in the sphere of oil production, industry, and raw material supplier for our enterprises,” he said. Moreover, Lukoil and Kazan Federal University are actively cooperating.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted as well that the company contributed to restoration of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk towns.
Addressing Vagit Alekperov, Rustam Minnikhanov said that concerning taxation and interaction with federal government they have the same opinions, and he is ready to promote their common interests on federal level.
Vagit Alekperov, in his turn, informed that the company is planning to increase the amount of investments and production output in the nearest future. He suggested organizing a fair of Tatarstan industrial enterprises jointly with potential customers to learn more about opportunities.
Lukoil Vice-President, RITEK Director General Nikolay Nikolaev made a detailed report on activity of OAO “RITEK”. In particular, he told about company’s activity in the sphere of ecology and a pilot project of alternative energy.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
