Rustam Minnikhanov and Vagit Alekperov presented awards to winners of contest of social and cultural projects

On November 14 a solemn event on summarizing results and awarding winners of IV contest of social and cultural projects of OAO “RITEK” and charity foundation “Lukoil” in Tatarstan took place in Kazan.
Regional non-profit, government, municipal and budgetary organisations, local self-government bodies and media agencies take part in the contest. The contest committee choose the most urgent and significant projects.
The possibility to implement the projects for grants provided by Ritek and Lukoil is offered to the winners.
The compulsory condition for financing the projects is investing internal or outside funds in the amount of at least of 30% of the requested sum by the participants.
“Ecology”, “Native land”, “Culture and sport”, “Mercy” are the nominations of the contest. This year 600 projects have been received from 45 regional municipalities. About 140 projects have won the contest.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, President of oil company “Lukoil” Vagit Alekperov, Tatarstan State Cousellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Board Chairman of OAO “Lukoil” and OAO “RITEK” Valery Graifer and other officials took part in the solemn awarding ceremony.
Welcoming participants of the ceremony, Vagit Alekperov noted that the oil company celebrates the 20-year anniversary of its charity foundation and joint trade union organization this year. He thanked Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and first Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev for their support of the company and its social projects.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
