On August 8, during his working trip to Perm region, speaking at a meeting of the Council of the Volga Federal District held by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the District Igor Komarov and dedicated to measures of supporting social assistance and supporting participants of the SMO and their family members in the regions of the District, as well as the topic of supporting working youth in the regions, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin informed that all federal programmes and national projects aimed at youth support are fully implemented in Tatarstan. Comprehensive and focused work is aimed at achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation.
In his speech, Pesoshin emphasized that today working youth is an important factor in the socio-economic development of the region. There are more than 650,000 working youth in the republic. The youth employment rate exceeds the Russian average and reaches 51 percent.
Housing support is among the key mechanisms of efficient support. Thus, «Young family» programme is a grant on terms of federal co-financing 30-35 percent of the cost of housing. Since 2025, a new program to improve the living conditions of young scientists has been launched in Tatarstan. «Integrated development of rural areas» programme covers measures to improve housing conditions and quality of life in the countryside, including aimed at young professionals. Enterprises in Tatarstan provide compensation for the costs of moving young professionals from other regions. Special attention is given to the professional development of working youth.
Tatarstan Prime Minister said that the first professional skills championship”Abilympics-2025” - a landmark event aimed at creating conditions for the adaptation of young special military operation participants, was held in Kazan in 2025 and involved about 400 people.
The development of this championship is not just a competitive initiative, but a set of support measures for the transition from military service to civilian life. Pesoshin also said that today, it is important to continue developing this championship/
He also thanked Igor Komarov for the public projects implemented in the Volga Federal District. “All projects are aimed at achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation – fulfilling the potential of each person, developing the talents of young people, raising a patriotic and socially responsible person, Pesoshin emphasized.
