The amount of property tax benefits for last year amounted to 2.3 billion rubles in Tatarstan

On 5 November, speaking at a briefing in Tatarstan Government House, the Head of the Federal Tax Service Directorate in the republic Marat Safiullin informed that over 2.1 million tax notifications with a total value of 11.5 billion rubles has been sent to residents of the republic which is by 18 per cent more than last year.

He said that the largest amount of tax revenues namely 5.7bn rubles - comes from the transport tax, 3.9bn will be property tax revenues and 1.9bn – land tax.

In addition, the notifications include 8.4 billion rubles, which are to be transferred to the treasury through personal income tax, the so called a "rich tax" for high-income individuals, Marat Safiullin clarified.

The total amount of property tax benefits for last year amounted to 2.3 billion rubles in Tatarstan, which was by 400m rubles or 17.4 per cent more than in 2023, he informed.

Marat Safilluin also told in detail about land tax benefits for pensioners and pre-retirees and tax benefits for participants of the special military operation and their families.
