Issues of Federal contract system discussed in Kazan

On December 13 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the conference of Volga Federal District “Contract system in the sphere of state and municipal services” at Volga academy of physical culture and sport.
Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Evgeny Elin informed that a new law on Federal contract system will be passed in a month and it will substitute current legislation about state and municipal purchases.
In connection with many changes stipulated by Federal contract system, experts of relevant state and municipal structures are discussing issues of the system functioning.
Deputy Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Galina Izotova noted that the decision to hold the conference was made because of urgent need to be prepared for working in new conditions.
Ildar Khalikov welcomed participants of the conference and thanked leadership of Volga Federal District for organizing this event. He reminded that Tatarstan has wide experience of working in Federal contract system as it was one of 7 Russian regions to realise some provisions of the law. The annual amount of state purchases in Tatarstan makes 100 bln rubles.
Evgeny Elin made a keynote report on main changes and aims stipulated by the law.
Several plenary sessions on urgent issues of implementing Federal contract system will be discussed at the conference within two days.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
