Seven thousand schoolchildren take part in Regional New Year party

On December 25 seven thousand schoolchildren took part in Regional New Year party at Ice Sports Palace “Tatneft-arena”.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated Tatarstan pupils on the coming New Year.

The topic of the Regional New Year party was announced as “Dreams come true in Tatarstan”. The fulfillment of cherished desires of children became the main idea of the party. The party script was taken from life stories of famous and successful people, whose dreams came true in Tatarstan.

Welcoming participants of the party, Ildar Khalikov noted that it is not by chance that they have been invited to the party. “You proved that you are the best at mathematics and physics, chemistry and biology, sports and the most active in public life. I am sure that future world champions and winners of Olympiads, Tatarstan Prime Minister and President and Nobel prize laureate are here today,” Ildar Khalikov said.

Head of Tatarstan Government also read greetings of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. It is said in the greetings that the 2013 year was marked by XXVII Summer Universiade, which was remembered as a festival of youth, sports, friendship and mutual understanding. Today, all necessary conditions for self-realization of the youth, getting contemporary education, job and leading life of dignity are provided in the republic. “Today, the republic needs such people like you - educated, ambitious and creative people capable taking non-standard decisions,” it is emphasized in the greeting.

Pupils were presented with confectionary gifts packed in a toy - symbol of the year.
