Members of Economic Council under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers discussed increase in labour productivity in industry

On December 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with members of Economic Council under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on increasing labour productivity at industrial enterprises. Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the economic situation in the republic is not easy. GRP volume in 2013 will exceed the 2012 level in comparable prices by 2 per cent. The industrial production index will make 101.2 per cent. Taking into account the current situation, increase of labour productivity and training of qualified personnel are important tasks, Rustam Minnikhanov said. He informed that increase of labour productivity will make just 2.4 per cent.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov made report on labour productivity at industrial enterprises. He informed that the analysis of labour productivity was carried out at chemical and petrochemical, and engineering enterprises. In order to increase labour productivity, it is important to decrease production costs, increase the quality of products and production output, Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
By results of 9 months of 2013, there has been a slowdown in labour productivity at some enterprises.
Ravil Zaripov focused on main factors that influence labour productivity decrease, among them are the decline in demand for products on foreign market, global prices for export items, the increase of energy tariffs and transportation charges, outdated equipment and technologies, and lack of qualified personnel.
Ravil Zaripov informed that a “road map” was developed and approved to increase labour productivity at industrial enterprises in 2014. He also said that such innovative sites as Kama industrial park “Master”, Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”, and technopolis “Himgrad” are growth points of Tatarstan economy.
Ravil Zaripov pointed out main tools for increasing labour productivity, - development of innovative economy, increase of the share of innovative produce, use of lean thinking technologies, ERP systems and SAP solutions, implementation of energy saving programme, and constant professional personnel development.
Director of the Centre of energy saving technologies under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Evgeny Martynov told about application of energy saving technologies. OAO KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin reported on labour productivity, production competitiveness, and use of lean technologies.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
