Rustam Minnikhanov: infrastructure of small and medium enterprises to be aimed at citizens’ employment

RT Prime Minister announced at the meeting of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Committee that small and medium business is a favorable sphere for those who have become unclaimed as the result of world finance crisis. Videoconference meeting was held with participation of all municipal districts. It was devoted to working results of the Committee.
Rustam Minnikhanov announced that today state officials have to reconsider their attitude towards business in order to keep working places. Moreover, he offered Small and Medium Enterprises Development Committee to cooperate closer with federal structures, to take part in federal contests for grants, e.t.c. It’s necessary to set out the priorities under the conditions of finance crisis; first of all, to pay attention to districts with depressed economy.
RT Prime Minister commented on the situation in Kamsky Industrial Park “Master” and noted that perhaps it’s necessary to use diversification and work out the measures in order to prevent crisis situations. Maksim Steblov, General Director of KIP “Master” informed that 90 % of park residents stopped their work.
Timur Shagivaleev, the Head of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Committee informed that more than 340 000 people work at small and medium enterprises today. Average salary is 16,2 thousand RUR. Tax proceeds from small and medium enterprises made 19,3 billion RUR in 2008.
It’s planned to finish the construction of business incubator in Chistopol’, Kamsky Industrial Park “Master”, IT-park.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
