Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in extended session of Tatarstan Department of Russian Investigation Committee

On January 27 at an extended session of Tatarstan Department of Russian Investigation Committee on results of work in 2013 and setting tasks for 2014 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov positively estimated activity of the department in 2013.
Chief federal inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, Minister of the Interior Artem Khokhorin, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prosecutor Ildus Nafikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the event.
Head of Tatarstan Department of Russian Investigation Committee Pavel Nikolaev made a keynote report. He pointed out priority tasks of the department, such as prevention of crimes, corruption, and detection of official crimes. He informed that Tatarstan Department of Russian Investigation Committee considered 13 thousand requests and every third case was brought before a court.
Prevention of terrorism and extremism displays was a priority task in 2013. Proceedings against 50 cases were ongoing.
As for prevention of corruption, Pavel Nikolaev informed that 1 thousand cases were brought to court.
Speaking about criminal damage compensation, Pavel Nikolaev said that total sum of compensated financial damage made 176 mln rubles.
More than 600 crimes against children and teenagers were under investigation in 2013.
Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov approved the idea of personal reception of citizens by head of the investigation department.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that he was especially proud of successful organisation of summer Universiade in Kazan.
Tatarstan President also briefly described economic situation in the republic. In particular, he told that capital investments made more than 500 bln rubles. The growing points of Tatarstan economy are construction of satellite town “Innopolis”, “Smart City Kazan”, and development of Kama industrial cluster.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the number of detected crimes increased in the republic. He also asked to focus on efficiency and quality of work of the department employees.
As for economic crimes, Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out such areas as split-up of companies, illegal salaries, safety of state property and budget funds.
Tatarstan President also focused on prevention of crimes in housing and utility sector.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards to distinguished employees of the department and letters of gratitude.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
