Rustam Minnikhanov supports proposal of Tatarstan Minister of Culture to increase amount of State Prize named after Gabdulla Tukai

On January 27 at an extended board session of Tatarstan Ministry of Culture Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin addressed Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with a suggestion to increase the amount of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai up to 500,000 rubles.
The event took place at Tatar State Academic Theater named after Galiaskar Kamal with participation of Chief of Staff of Tatarstan’s President Office, Board Chairman of Presidential Cultural Support Fund Asgat Safarov, Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Rimma Ratnikova, heads of departments and cultural workers.
To the point, currently the State Prize named after Gabdulla Tukai makes 300,000 rubles. The prize is awarded for the most outstanding and publicly recognized works of literature and art, which made a considerable contribution to development of domestic and national culture as well as outstanding scientific researches in the field of art and literature studies.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that Airat Sibagatullin’s proposal to increase the size of the State Prize named after Gabdulla Tukai would be supported.
Tatarstan President presented money certificates for reaching the best figures in organization of work at municipal cultural institutions to cultural institutions.
Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin reported that the amount of expenses of the Tatarstan consolidated budget for culture in 2013 made 8 bln 713 mln rubles, including 5.3 bln from the regional budget and 3 bln 353 mln rubles from municipal budgets. The expenses for culture increased by 29 percent compared to 2012.
Speaking about the average salary for cultural workers, Airat Sibagatullin said that planned figures for 2013 were exceeded.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
