Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: «If earlier information technologies were a mere verbiage, today all activity of «RT Electronic Government RT» is based on them

The delegation of the RF Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications has been today in the Cabinet of Republic Tatarstan by the head of the government of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The presentation of opportunities of «Electronic Government of the Republic Tatarstan» for representatives of the RF Ministry of Telecommunications was held having demonstrated in action organization of video conference with all municipal regions of the republic.
At the meeting with guests RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said that if earlier modern information technologies were a mere verbiage, today all activity of the project «RT Electronic Government» (electronic document circulation, use of the electronic digital signature, «mobile offices» in note-books of the republican officials) is under construction.
Director of department of public policy in the field of information and information technologies of the RF Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications Artem Yermolaev highly appreciated experience of Tatarstan in implementing the project «RT Electronic Government ». By his words that business-model which had been created and is successfully is operating today in the republic is possible to recommend for other subjects of the federation.
He also informed, that within the limits of visit to Kazan it is supposed to examine two platforms where the project of park of high technologies is being realized, IT-park and the techno-polis «Khimgrad».
The PM of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reminded, that the techno-polis «Khimgrad (Chemistry city)» is being created aimed at activities of petrochemical branch. As he said, the techno-polises today are kind of «points of growth» for the economy of republic and support of the federal government is necessary for completion of the objects.
The head of the government of Tatarstan informed that opening of the IT -Park in Kazan is planned on August, 2009.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
