“Ski race of Russia-2014” held in Kazan

On February 9 Kazan citizens, labour unions, employees of Tatarstan President’s Office and other government institutions took part in “Ski race of Russia-2014” near Kazan, in Zalesny township.
Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov noted that “Ski race of Tatarstan” was also held in all municipal regions that day, and thousands of Tatarstan citizens took part in the event.
The winner of VIP race was Deputy Chief of Staff of Cabinet of Ministers Sergey Korostelov, Head of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Use in Tatarstan Farit Khairutdinov and Head of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Rifkat Minnikhanov took the second and third places.
According to event managers, 23 372 people took part in ski race.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
