Mintimer Shaimiev and Vladimir Vasiliev watch ballet “The Golden Horde”

On February 25 State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, a famous ballet dancer, ballet-master, choreographer, theatre director, People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev and representatives of a French company Telmondis, one of the world’s largest broadcasters of major cultural events, watched a ballet “The Golden Horde” at Musa Dzhalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

To the point, the first night took place last September. The performance “The Golden Horde” was prepared under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for three years.

Director General of Telmondis Denis Morlière and its President Antoine Perset, who are interested in live broadcasting of the ballet “The Golden Horde” on a famous European cultural television channel “Mezzo”, also watched the performance.

Last year in March Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with the company’s representatives, when they agreed on live broadcasting of the opera and ballet gala-concert “Shalyapin. Nuriev. Kazan” on European channels.
