Maximum amount of oil produced in Tatarstan since 1992

On February 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of small oil companies on results of activity in 2013 and setting tasks for 2014 in Almetievsk (Tatarstan).
Rustam Minnikhanov positively estimated last year’s results achieved in oil industry.
523 mln tonnes of oil were produced in Russia, 32.867 tonnes - in Tatarstan, which is the maximum amount since 1992. Such results were achieved due to hard work of oil industry workers and government support, Rustam Minnikhanov noted. He added that oil industry would be the main one in Tatarstan economy in the nearest 20 years.
“It will be more difficult to work in future, but technologies and experience of oil industry workers will enable maintaining the same positions,” Tatarstan President said. He recommended promoting Tatneft advanced technologies that help keeping oil production level.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov assigned certain tasks in terms of issues discussed at the meeting and thanked oil industry workers for considerable contribution to regional economy.
Tatneft Director General Nail Maganov, heads of ministries and agencies, territorial subdivisions of federal agencies took part in the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
